Forgotten Favorites - Project Gotham Racing 3

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a big racing fan. I'm also not a big racing game fan either. But I have to admit, when I bought Project Gotham Racing 3 the day I got my Xbox 360 last year, nothing could quite prepare me for what an oustanding game it was going to be. Not only did it easily eclipse every other game I bought at launch as far as play time goes, it's also a game that I still play more than any other Xbox 360 game I own. Yes, even Oblivion! The game just has the perfect mix of realistic physics and arcade style play mechanics to form what is easily one of the best racing games ever made. If you haven't picked this gem up yet, do yourself a favor and grab it now that it's gone down to $29.99. It's worth every penny. And don't forget, Bizarre is also working on PGR4, so if you like PGR3, you now have something big to look forward to. PGR3 is still one of the best Xbox 360 games out there, and that's a real testament when you think of some of the fantastic games we've seen released for the 360 over this past year.

Corbie,

What happened to the "Wii Launch Survival Guide?" I was looking forward to that.

What's with all the teasers lately stating "check back tomorrow" which then vanish never to be seen again?

Wii Launch Survival Guide is almost completely finished...I only took the teaser down because I knew it was going to take an extra week. My uncle had his leg removed the other day from diabetes and I've been having to take care of him until he gets used to the atificial leg. But don't worry, the Wii Guide is coming most likely on Tuesday evening. I wanted to get it up tomorrow, but I just got back home and I've got a lot of work to catch up on.

Jeez Corbie...sorry to hear that. Best wishes to your uncle.

Thanks for the kind words. It's much appreciated. It's going good. I think you'll like the survival guide. It's kind of everything you'll need to know to land a Wii on launch day.
