Sega CD Reviews Site Now Open!

Due to the unusually large number of requests on my SUPER-NES.COM web site, I've decided to start a sister page with Sega CD reviews. So far I only have one review up, which is for the Working Design's game Vay, but I can promise you that many more will be coming soon. I'm working on the review for Popful Mail as we speak and it should be up tomorrow. Keep checking the site to see if the game you're looking for is on there and if it's not, feel free to leave a comment or shoot me an email with any requests you might have. Hope you enjoy the site!

Click on the Sega CD logo to visit the new site!

Comments:
all we needs is a gba one and a turbo duo and psp ds one XD

That made me tired just reading it. But who knows...maybe after I can get this Sega CD page up to speed over the next year, maybe then I can add the TurboDuo review page I've thought about doing. : )

AWESOME SITE! I've been looking for a good review site that deals with Sega CD games. I do have one request. Could you P-L-E-A-S-E do a review for Sonic CD. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Two questions: 1. Did you design that header logo yourself? If so it's terrific. 2. Where did you find that "Rating" graphic you have? I gotta get one of those!!! Oh and great site. Maybe do a review for one of the Lunar games. XD

I just have requests. Could you add reviews for these games. Silpheed, Dragon's Lair, Earthworm Jim: Special Edition, and Sonic CD. Thanks and nice work on the page.

Well for the two Sonic CD requests, you're in luck. That just happens to be the review I'm working on right now. Should have it up tomorrow. As for the other requests, they're now on my list and I'll get to them as soon as possible. I have the Sonic CD review to finish and then I'm going to do Shining Force CD.

As for the logo, I put that together myself. I had an early one that was the logo from the Sega CD bootup screen but it was so jaggy that I tossed it and did this new one. I think I like it better anyway. The rating picture I designed myself using a drawing program and it turned out better than I thought it would.

Thanks for the kind words guys, and I'll try to get at least one review up a day for the next few weeks in order to get the site really going so keep checking back.

w.wth!? made ya tired!?
WAKE THE HECK WILL YA! ;p
I hope ya do a gba also .

May I ask where you get your screens from? I didn't see a watermark on them anywhere. I'm looking to start a Genesis page and need screens. Thx.

Well it's been a long day and I still have a Ultimate Ghosts & Goblins PSP review to work on. : )

As for the screenshots, I take them myself using the Kega Fusion emulator for Windows and playing my Sega CD games on it. The emulator has a built-in screen capture that works like a charm. And I don't put watermarks on them because it takes away from a screenshots and I don't like sites that use them, although I completely understand why they do.

Again, thanks for all the kind words. Night! ZZzzz

bout time someone did a sega cd page. finding reviews for sega cd games is no easy thing to do. if you could, do a review of dark wizard. i've considered getting it, but I don't know if it's any good or not.//

WOW! Great web site. Any chance of you including Genesis games as well? I had to ask!!! I've got your page bookmarked. Good luck with it.

Requesting-Mickey Mania and Lunar Eternal Blue. Thnx.

Nice site. All I can say is you need to add both Lunar games. They're the best games you can buy for the Sega cd.

WOW! Look at all the comments. Must be a lot of Sega CD fans out there. : )

As I said, I'm currently working on Sonic CD, Shining Force CD, and then I'll probably do Silpheed. I haven't played the Lunar games in a few years so I'll need to catch up on them before I write a review for both of them. I promise I'll get to them soon.

How about a reveiw for final fight cd??? Great site btw.

I can't believe you actually like Vay!!! That game was crap on the shoes of crap. Stick to Lunar and Popful Mail. But you have a great site. Just sucky taste!!!!

Final Fight will be coming as it's one of my favorite Sega CD games. As for Vay, if you don't like Vay, that's your opinion. I gave mine. I love it. Maybe you should write a review of your own for it. : )

Nice page. How about a review for Phantasy Star IV???

Although I absolutely love Phantasy Star IV, it's not a Sega CD game and since the title of the web site is "Sega CD Reviews" it might not work if I started adding Genesis games. I'll be lucky to keep the Sega CD reviews coming daily. : )

I was going to ask for Silpheed, but I see you mentioned that it was coming up soon. I'll keep checking to see when it's up. Thanks and great work Corie.

I don't suppose you'll be adding Genesis titles to the web site? I don't have a Sega CD system and I honestly can't find enough good games to make myself get one. Nice site though.

I might add them at a much later date, but for now I'm concentrating on only Sega CD games. If you're an RPG fan, you really need to consider getting a Sega CD system as it has some outstanding rpgs. Vay, Lunar Silver Star, Popful Mail, Lunar Eternal Blue, and Shining Force CD are 5 of the best ones.

If you do decide to invest in a Sega CD system I highly recommend the Sega CDX system. It plays both Genesis and Sega CD games and is known to be very reliable. I have one and I love it!
